PhD Rotation Student
John began his graduate studies in Physiology and Neurobiology in the fall of 2024. Before coming to UConn, he studied biology at Eastern Connecticut State University. John joined the Sciolino Lab to develop a better understanding of circuit neuroscience and the state-of-the-art techniques used to study neural circuits. He is highly interested in the way that neural circuits, in places like the hypothalamus, integrate environmental and molecular cues to direct subsequent function and behavior, and how this relates to neuropsychiatric disorders. In his free time, John enjoys wrestling and jiu-jitsu.
